Safe Air Technology offers our combination Air Conditioning system with Room Purge and Pressurization system. These combination systems are offered in a variety of standard designs as well as fully custom, including Wall-Mount and Roof or Skid Mounted designs. The capacities range from 1 to over 200 Tons with many options available.

These Severe Duty systems are designed by our professional engineering staff and are fully documented and certified for operational performance and compliance to both NEC and IEC codes related to NFPA 70 Article 500-505 for Hazardous Environments as well as NFPA 496 Type Z Room Purge and Pressurization. What’s the difference between commercial and industrial HVAC?

What is a pressurization unit?

Our AC and Pressurization units can be customized for wall, roof, or skid-mounted designs as well!

How do you size a commercial AC system?

The size of commercial AC system you need will depend on many different factors, including the size of the space you want to heat or cool, the design and construction of the building itself, the external temperature, and more. As a rough estimate, it takes 25 BTUs to cool one square foot of commercial space. Once you’ve determined the total BTUs you need, divide by 12,000 and you will get the tonnage required for your AC system.
